It's not drying - emollient is the fancy word. It's sheer, goes on lightly and suits most people. Clinique made a keeper when they brought out their Almost Lipstick range. Black honey was the most popular shade and has stuck around over the years even though the other shades in the range have been discontinued.

What's there not to like?

The other shades in this range have been discontinued. I would love to get this in clear and use it as a lip balm. That would be my ultimate lip protection. Not too shiny or sticky, something that I can go to the gym wearing. Or out and about running.

Would I buy it again?

I already have several tubes. I also keep a tube of this stuff in my desk drawer at work. It's really versatile and quick. It's so sheer that you can slather it on without a mirror.

Any last words?

I love this stuff. Over the last few months I have gotten rid of most of my makeup and product that I had piled up. I decided to only keep what I was likely to use over the next month. I filled an entire waste basket. The Clinique Almost Lipstick in Black Honey stayed.
