March 15, 2008 Yoga Meditation

By Christina | March 15, 2008

This week take time to think about how you “think”.  Does your mind spend it’s time waiting for the worst to happen?  Are you often given to thoughts of worst case scenarios?  You are not alone if this describes you but you are creating a bad habit for yourself.  Our thoughts lead to our realities if for no other reason than we allow what we think to mold who we become.  How many great businessmen do you imagine started by doubting themselves or worrying about how they would handle success?  My guess is, not many.  This week allow these quotes by Benjamin Franklin and Horace to create new positive patterns for your mind to build upon:

Do not anticipate trouble or worry about what may never happen.  Keep in the sunlight. – B. Franklin

The mind that is anxious about future events is misreble. – Seneca

During your next yoga practice, let your mind focus on the positive potenital outcomes for all you have happening in your life right now.  See your dreams coming true, the fruition of your goals and plans, joy and happiness following you everywhere you go.  No matter what happens this week, keep your thoughts positive and your expectations full of hope and see how differently you feel.
