To organize your home is vital, right?
Organize your home with the following 3 key tips, and come quiet time or come hordes of visitors, and within just a week or so, you'll wonder how anyone manages any other way.
Organize Home Tip 1 - Who Lives Here?
'Who lives here?' - That questions captures the essence of how to organize home and is my first organize home tip. It allows us to question ourselves objectively about how we would judge the person that lives at this home.
Do it now. Look at how your home is organized right now and ask yourself that question and see what view it gives you of how you currently organize home.
Quit frankly, its a miserable existence to live in an unorganized home. You should have seen the place I grew up in. Yuck!
When the home is tidy, generally your mood will be better. No wonder I was always in a bad mood. An organized home means a greater confidence and self-assurance. I had low confidence too.
Imagine Einstein with a feather duster and apron because since 11 years old I have essentially looked after myself. Combined with my passion for getting the most out of life, and despite the fact I'm MALE, I know how to run a ship shape home.
I have studied business management and evolved it to organize home, organize closet, organize garden, you name it. Which leads me to my 2nd organize home tip.
Organize Home Tip 2 - Don't schedule your home chores to time. Trying to organize home by time schedules amounts to good intentions and early gray hair.
Trying to time-schedule chores to organize home does not last because of distractions and changes in mood and preference.
Because otherwise we beat ourselves up about the mess and that we really 'should' be doing such and such to organize home, which lowers our motivation and so things get less organized than before! Yes?
Just wing it. You'll enjoy your home so much more and will soon notice how you actually enjoy keeping things tidier and more organized.
Organize Home Tip 3 - Self-Image is Key Organize Home status depends on your self-image. Does that sound weird? It's actually very practical. How well organized your home is depends on the health of your self-image.
If you see yourself as on top of things and well organized at home, you probably will be. But which comes first? (chicken or egg story I know).
Do you think it might work to just let go of the guilt of doing chores when you feel like it rather than 'when they're supposed to be done'? My suggestion is that you try it and see if this approach works for you. You may begin to feel less lazy about organizing your home. At that point greater satisfaction towards organizing your home will develop inside you which will make you more capable to organize the home much better than before.
The more organized you become, the more you'll see yourself as organized, and the upwards spiral will have begun, rather than the guilt and lazy downward spiral of 'I should tidy up'. Then you'll easily organize home, and even organize closets.
