Roy G. Biv. It's more than the rainbow's acronymic name. It can define your character. These seven visible colors of the spectrum affect our physical and emotional bodies, and are vital to determining the mood of a space.

 

What Color Are You?

Color can have a profound effect on how we feel both mentally and physically without our realizing it. Color has been used as healing tool for thousands of years.  Hippocrates was given the title “The Father of Modern Medicine” and his only healing tools were color crystals, salves, dyes and oils.  Hippocrates along with the ancient Egyptians and the Native American Indians used color and colored light to heal. Below is a list of the 7 colors of the spectrum that are visible to the naked eye. Each has an affect on our physical and emotional bodies. These are important to keep in mind in order to create the mood you are seeking.
