Ingredients:
4 slices smoked salmon
6 eggs, separated
1 tablespoon fresh dill, minced
2 pinches ground ginger
2 tablespoons olive oil
Salt and pepper
- Preheat the oven to 500˚ Fahrenheit.
- Cut the smoked salmon slices in strips.
- In a large clean bowl, beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt until soft peaks form.
- In another bowl, whisk the egg yolks with dill, ginger, salt and pepper.
- Add the salmon strips to the mixture.
- Carefully fold the yolk mixture into the beaten egg whites.
- In an oven-safe skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
- Pour the preparation into the skillet and cook on medium heat for 4 minutes.
- Place the omelet in the oven for 5 more minutes.
- Serve immediately.
