Beef Salad with Bean Sprouts

Turn beef and bean sprouts into a filling dish for four - all in less than 20 minutes.
Preparation: 10 minutes
Cooking: 6-8 minutes
Serving: 4 persons
Ingredients:
  • 1.3 lbs rumsteak
  • 1 onion
  • 1 carrot
  • ½ cucumber
  • 2 garlic gloves
  • 1 lemon juice
  • 3 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon nuoc-mam
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoon minced cilantro
  • 2 tablespoon minced fresh mint
  • 2 tablespoon grilled peanuts, crushed
Grill the meat under the oven’s broiler on high for 3 to 4 minutes on each side.
Meanwhile, peel the onion, carrot, cucumber and garlic.
Mince the onion, coarsely shred the carrot and cucumber..
In a large bowl, mix the lemon juice with oil, nuoc-mam, soy sauce and spices.
Add the onion, carrot, cucumber, bean sprouts and the pressed garlic. Toss well.
Thinly slice the meat. Add the slices to the salad along with the cilantro and mint.
Sprinkle the crushed peanuts on top and serve immediately.
