Home theaters create a leading-edge look for a home. So why buy poor cables - and then let them snake across the floor and behind the cabinets? Improve your cables and reduce clutter in a few easy steps.

1. Getting the Most Out of Your Home Theater
You don't want to spend thousands on a home theater setup only to have your signal ruined by sub standard cable. Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) is everywhere at all times and can enter a component video cable and degrade home theater performance. A long component video cable (2-meters or more), acts as an antenna that can attract external noise. You can eliminate these problems by using cable that shields your transmission from EMI.

2. Keep your wires and cables neat
That rat's nest of cables and cords behind the desk is not likely to make a good impression. Worse, it is hard to keep clean and can be a major dust trap. Wire Looms or braided sleeving are great ways to organize cables and cords into color-coded bundles that will help keep your electronic equipment tidy. Better yet, you'll make a better impression on clients and employees alike if your workspace is clean and organized.
