June 3 Tie a fine mesh laundry bag onto your laundry hamper. Now you can toss socks directly into the bag. You'll never have wandering socks again.
June 4 Always forgetting to take the reusable grocery bags back to the car? Place a caddy next to the front door and place everything that needs to go back to the car in there so you remember it on your next trip out.

June 6 Accessing your accounts online can help you cut the financial clutter by allowing you to view your balances - positive and negative in one place. Security is constantly being improved by financial institutions. Quicken online is free and can help you keep transactions in order for next years tax audit.
June 7 Clean shower curtain liners today. You can pop it into the washing machine by itself for a quick cold wash cycle. Place a bath towel in with it to help scrub the surface clean. Hang it back in the shower to drip dry. Note: Do not place into dryer.

June 9 Go through your web browser bookmarks. Archive or delete any that are not necessary or useful any longer.
June 10 Clean your Car Today. Remove the garbage and sort through the clutter. Vacuum the carpets and wash the outside.
June 11 Get unpolished wood such as pine tables to gleam. Apply beeswax polish with a soft cloth to nourish the wood surface. Use another clean soft cloth to buff shiny.
June 12 Spring clean your dishwasher. Add vinegar to the soap container and let the empty dishwasher run through an economy cycle. This dissolve old soap residue and clean out the dishwasher. Don't forget to wipe down the door seals.
June 13 Clean the keyboards in your home both the piano and computer to keep them dust and crumb free. Use the small brush attachment of your vacuum. You can use the brush on vents at the back of your television and on the hair and dust that accumulates around the outside of your computer case. Note: do not vacuum the inside of your computer case the static electricity generated can damage internal components.
June 14 Freshen stale thermos or vacuum flasks that have been left unused before the summer picnic season begins. Add a tablespoon each of salt and vinegar to the flask and shake vigorously. Rinse clean with water.

June 16 Today wipe down the inner fridge door containers. Take special care where you store juice and milk, dried sticky juice and crusted milk have a habit of accumulating in this area. Read our ten minute Kitchen Cleaning Checklist for more tips.
June 17 Fathers Day is today. Spend some time with your beloved parent today.
June 18 Summer maintenance: make sure windows can open easily and can be closed securely. Are the air conditioning units functioning correctly? Mend fly screens with holes.
June 19 Keep an emergency meal in the freezer. A large chicken if roasted can feed six, store a few extra chicken breasts in case the party is bigger. A tub of good vanilla ice cream and a packet of frozen summer berries (warmed with a stick of cinnamon for a quick sauce) can be an instant dessert.
June 20 Clean the shelves of the pantry with a damp
cloth today. Use this opportunity to fill in a kitchen inventory form so
you can keep track of its contents making shopping an easier chore.
June 21 Make a list of your utility companies and handymen contact details. Gas, electricity, water, plumbers, electricians and pest control. This came in handy the year a swarm of bees made their temporary nest in our back yard.
June 22 Summer Begins today. Time to get outdoors and enjoy the summer weather with a fun activity.
June 23 A refrigerator whose doors do not seal properly is not working safely or efficiently. Check the seals of your refrigerator today by placing a piece of paper between the seal and the door. If the paper slides down easily the seals on your door in worn and should be replaced.
June 24 Remove the limescale that has accumulated on your plugholes and chrome taps with white wine vinegar. Rinse with water and dry with a clean cloth. A wedge of lemon rubbed over the surface works just as well only you are left with a fresh citrus scent.
June 25 A build of dust and grease can hamper the efficient functioning of your refrigerator. Use a soft brush to dust clean the element at the back of your fridge.
June 26 Are you familiar with your fuse box? Label switches and keep a few spare fuses in case of a blackout. Keep a wind up flashlight nearby.
June 27 Vacuum the dust and debris underneath your sofa's today.
June 28 Sort through the pile of mail in your home. Get rid of anything that is trash and consider getting a staggered letter divider with a slot for each member of the household who recieves mail.
June 29 Charge mobile phones and ipods in the evening to benefit from cheaper electricity rates.
