Apr 1 April Fool’s Day--Make sure you enjoy a laugh or two today.

Apr 2 Decide and make your spring cleaning list. It might be easiest to divide it up by room.

Apr 3 Wash your automatic coffee maker. Make sure to run white vinegar to dissolve mineral deposits in the machine.

Apr 4 Visit your local library, and check out a book or two for each member of the family. Take some time each day this week to enjoy a few spare minutes reading.

Toss old socks that no longer have mates.

Apr 6 Make a non-perishable food donation to a local food pantry or pet supplies to a local animal shelter.

Apr 7 Wash and scrub out or hose out your garbage cans.

Apr 8 Toss any junk mail.

Apr 9 Wipe your blinds or wash your curtains in at least one room.

Apr 10 Throw away any old magazines or catalogs that are no longer read, used, or expired.

Apr 11 Clear one surface, any surface –dining room table, kitchen counter, dresser, coffee table or a nightstand.

Apr 12 Go for a walk, jog, a run, or a bike ride in order to enjoy some of the fresh spring air.

Apr 13 Give away or sell 5 books you no longer enjoy, need or want.

Apr 14 Clean your toothbrush holder and get some new toothbrushes.

Apr 15 Delete at least 20 files from your computer hard drive you no longer need or use.

Apr 16 Look ahead to the next couple of months and buy ahead some holiday cards (Father’s and Mother’s Days for example).

Apr 17 Clean your windows inside and out, or hire someone to do it.

Apr 18

Gather your garden supplies and tools together. Make sure they are in clean and in working order.

Apr 19 Return at least 2 items you have borrowed in the last few months.

Apr 20 The Jewish Celebration of Passover begins at Sunset. If you celebrate Passover, use your checklist (you do have one, right?) to ensure all important details are remembered.

Apr 21 Weed out your wallet or purse. Toss any old receipts, movie stubs, discount cards, papers that are no longer need. Make sure to shred anything with personal information.

Apr 22 Earth Day, do at least one earth friendly thing today. For example use public transit, walk, or ride a bicycle or recycle.

Apr 23 Clean out your medicine cabinet, making sure to safely dispose of expired medication.

Apr 24 Make sure your first aid kit is fully stocked for the upcoming season.

Apr 25 Delete at least 20 old emails from your computer inbox.

Apr 26 Clean your make-up brushes to remove build up and bacteria.

Apr 27 Start making your garden plans.

Apr 28 Take a bouquet of flowers to a friend or a loved one you haven't seen or visited in a long time.

Apr 29 Clean out your family’s junk drawer, throw out any expired coupons and no long used or wanted restaurant menus. Group like items together such as rubber bands, paperclips, and push pins.

Apr 30 Before changing your winter to summer wardrobe, donate, giveaway, or sell any items that were not worn during the winter months.
