Here is a recipe for  furniture polish and banister cleaner that you can make in the comfort of your home.

What you will need:

• White vinegar
• Boiled linseed oil
• Pure turpentine
• A Jar

Method:
Mix equal parts linseed oil, vinegar and turpentine into a jar. Shake the solution thoroughly to ensure that the mixture does not separate.


How to use:
Wipe the solution on the wooden surface and clean off with a cloth or else the wood will feel sticky.

Note – leave the cloths to dry outside after you have applied the cleaner to avoid any risk of spontaneous combustion.
