BIOGRAPHY:
Having earned a B.A. from Rhodes University, and a M.A in publishing from The University of the Arts, London, she worked as a technical and content writer for over 5 years. Leanne has conducted research on the various aspects of online writing: style, audience, search and marketing. She has familiarized herself and mastered the realms of content writing for products and keywords.
Leanne has since expanded her skill set to Micro-site Brand Expansion which involves hands-on grappling with the intricacies of building a website from concept to profit: FireProtectionSupplies.com, LifeOrganizers.com and Cableturtle.com amongst others. Social Media has played a significant role in driving traffic towards the brand as well as providing a customer-focus-group to test new ideas, products and rate service. Her on-the-job experimentation and implementation of social media over the last 4 years has given Leanne a good idea of what visitors are looking for and what they would like to engage about. From Fail to Facebook she’s seen it all and tried it all and learned along the way that not every social media outlet will be a good fit.
