How to Plan a Romantic Valentine's Day Dinner

This may depend on your budget, babysitter availability and whether you've remembered to book in advance.

Step 2: Planning the Event

Perhaps you would like to book a romantic dinner. Many restaurants put together a special Valentines Day menu with set courses that often has complimentary champagne. 

Why is this idea is good? Your favorite restaurant will often change the décor to reflect the romance this holiday inspires. Which are usually Candles, Roses and themed linen laid out while a Power Ballad fills the air? There’s nothing better than enjoying food you already love in a setting meant for lovers.

What happens next? Call up your favorite eatery or one you’ve been dying to go to for ages and make a booking before tables fill up.

Send out an original but special invitation to your partner

Step 4: Setting the scene

Don't forget all the basics a bouquet of flowers, gifts and candy... or you can take the route of candles, moonlight and rose petals

Step 5: Finally we get to eat. The meal should be quick and easy to prepare so that you can allow yourself plenty of time to clean the house and put on your best dress without feeling rushed.
