Here is a sample entry from Joslyn in Queens, NY:

I have twins and whatever mischief one finds, the other shortly follows. One mid-December morning, the (slightly) older boy decided that he was going to find his gifts he climbed on top of the dresser counter to reach the highest shelf. Pretty industrious now that I think about it. However his brother soon followed him up there and both these scamps were teetering dangerously on the counter. The entire dresser began to rock! Thank Heavens I walked in and was able to steady it before it fell. So after a stern lecture to the boys, I considered removing all the furniture in my home. My husband (the Nazi) was rather vocal about this being an unreasonable idea borne from the fact that I was still in shock from the potential danger that the twins were in. So later that morning I searched for solutions on the internet, I found that furniture can be kept steady by using a stud to anchor it to a wall. That very afternoon after a trip to Home Depot I anchored the dresser and all the other climb-friendly furniture in my home. I can’t imagine what would have happened had I not gotten there in time. I did this for my peace of mind and to keep my sanity in the future. Now I can leave the twins with a babysitter and go out to a romantic dinner – and not spend the evening worrying about that potential hazard.
