Questions for Couples
So many relationships consist of us wondering what it is our partners are thinking when - realistically - instead of thinking it, we should be asking them! There can be a great deal of tip-toeing and soft treading in our couple-dom, or fear of putting them off or making them feel uncomfortable, but this type of behavior isn't conducive of a healthy relationship. Don't be afraid to ask questions - here's how!
One of the most interesting things about relationships is knowing about your partner. Most often, these are what we are excited about during the dating period. We are often excited and curious about what guys think of us, and men as well, often ask about what women like.
Indeed, it is in dating that we tend to ask so many questions about each other. However, getting to know each other should not end after dating. In marriage too, you can add more spice to your relationship through some questions for couples. Sometimes, married couples do not anymore care about asking those silly 'whys' and 'what if' questions we often brought out during dating. Those may sound silly but by raising questions like that, we tend to know more about the beliefs and values of our partners, and of course, it can help us determine how compatible we are with our partners, and in a way, knowing the chances of making a successful marriage.
In some countries where divorce is not legal, they often have questions for couples who get marriage licenses. The couples undergo a sort of interview on their views about marriage, sex, family, finances and many other things that determine the compatibility of the couple and their capabilities in raising a family. As divorce is not allowed, the compatibility test is often done in that process.
You can also come up with your own compatibility test with creative ideas to make your partner talk about just anything about life, childhood experiences and some little things that may seem too little but shows more about him. However, it should be kept in mind that these questions should be just for fun and for communication starters and should not be as rigid as those marriage interviews for alien spouses, and definitely not something that can lead to one getting angry. With this fun activity, you may be even surprised to know that there are still many things to learn about your spouse even after years of living together.
Most often, gaps in communication lead to unsuccessful relationships, and having fun question-and-answer activities in your leisure time can even make magic in your relationship. Romantic questions are not exempted. Romantic questions for couples can spice up your romantic nights and would even let you discover many ways to please your partner in terms of his physical and sexual needs. Knowing more about what your partner likes and sharing about your thoughts and feelings can even solicit support and mutual respect, which is essential in making relationships last long.
So don't wait for the marriage counsellors to interview you and your partner about what you think about your life together and your preferences and likes. You can save that relationship by simple conversations and dialogues that will bring back the sparks you both felt during the dating stage.
Among the exciting questions you can put in your list are questions about your relationship, family, your dreams, goals and even fantasies, emotions, childhood experiences and memories and of course sex. These may sound like questions for couples who are dating but you can still put yourselves in the 'dating' stage even if you are married for long. You can even share the idea to your friends and acquaintances who are trying to work on making a great relationship.
