Spring CleaningGetting Ready for Rummage Sales
Rummage sales are bonanzas on the home, the garage, the pocketbook - and the mind. With the right strategy - and some fun in mind - a rummage sale can weed out things you no longer use, while getting those things into the hands of people who will.
A rummage sale is a great way to weed out things you no longer use, while getting those things into the hands of people who WILL use them. Of course, you get to make some money at the same time!
A neighbor of mine recently held a multi-family rummage sale. A bunch of us brought our stuff to this neighbor's house, we assisted her with the sale, and then we all went home with less clutter and some extra pocket money.
For those items that didn't sell, we had Goodwill come pick up those things the next day. The donation made us all feel good, plus we didn't have to cart all that clutter back home.
